Joyride Rookie Cup 2025 Mt Taylor MTB Park

The Joyride Rookie Cup is Australia’s first ever fully dedicated youth downhill series. By providing a true pathway into state and national level competition as well as providing a lower barrier of entry to new racers, the ‘Rookie Cup’ is designed to capture the ever-growing, new wave of up-and-coming downhill talent and give them the foundation to take on the sport of downhill headfirst!

Last year’s event was a crowd favourite at Mt Taylor MTB Park, where there is plenty of room for all to enjoy.

Mountain Biking East Gippsland have you covered for food options and will be providing a canteen with snacks and drinks and a BBQ breakfast and lunch both days.

Volunteers are essential for events like this and as we get closer, we will have volunteer signup sheets for rolls over both the days. If you are able to spare some time it is much appreciated to ensure the event can run smoothly.
